On November 22, Zeng Jianzhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of MCC Group and China MCC, went to Zhongye Changtian to inspect operations. He visited the Comprehensive Corporate Image Exhibition Hall, the National Engineering Research Center for Sintering and Pelletizing Equipment System, the Technology Industrial Park of Zhongye Changtian, and the Pilot Test Base for Original Technologies in Green and Low-carbon Ferrous Metallurgy; heard the presentations from Zhongye Changtian regarding ongoing transformation and upgrading, construction of legal compliance system, investment management, and infrastructure business expansion, etc. Zeng Jianzhong fully commended the achievements made by Zhongye Changtian in focusing on its main responsibilities and core businesses, adhering to leading with technological innovation, and steadily promoting the construction of risk control system, and outlined specific requirements for future work:
First, we should strengthen our confidence and strive hard. Benchmarking against the established goals at the beginning of the year, we should identify the gaps and make up for the shortcomings; with the upsurge of "Go all out for 60 days and sprint towards a prosperous year-end" activity, we should make a concentrated effort to ensure the successful completion of all tasks for the whole year. Second, we should maintain our strategic focus and inherit historical accumulations, adhere to leading with science and technology, uphold integrity while making innovations, take a long-term perspective and grasp the industry trends, accelerate the transformation of core scientific and technological achievements, strive to realize the commercialization of technologies and the industrialization of products. Meanwhile, we should invest more resources in introducing and cultivating qualified scientists and technicians, strengthen the advantages in scientific research and design, promote the ongoing corporate transformation and upgrading, and ensure the long-term prosperity and stability. Third, we should highlight the leading role with design, drive the construction of general contracting projects, and expand the market based on our own brand and technology strength. In particular, we should make better achievements in the overseas market on the basis of controlling the risks such as legal compliance. Four, we should strengthen the leading and guaranteeing role of Party building, further promote the construction of honest Party culture, consolidate the achievements of Party discipline learning and education, and boost the high-quality development of our enterprise through in-depth integration of Party building and production & operation.
